Technology Philosophy

How we evaluate and select tools for systems development

Right Tool for the Job

We choose technologies based on technical merit and problem fit, not hype or familiarity. Different problems require different tools.

Open Source First

We prefer open source tools that can be understood, modified, and self-hosted. Black boxes are difficult to debug and maintain.

Production-Ready

Technology choices consider operational characteristics: monitoring, logging, debugging, and long-term maintainability.

Proven & Stable

We favor mature, battle-tested technologies for production systems. Experimentation happens in R&D, not in critical paths.

Continuous Evolution

The technology landscape evolves constantly. We continuously evaluate new tools, frameworks, and platforms, adopting those that offer genuine improvements to system quality, reliability, or development velocity.
